The nanodeck®  fire protection for wood NANODECK FIRE PROTECTION Wood is a near-natural fire protection coating for solid wood, chipboards and timber veneer plywood for the dry interior in accordance with DIN 4102-B1. It is water-based and forms an insulating layer. NANODECK FIRE PROTECTION Wood is especially ecological (odorless, free from halogen, heavy metals and solvents), easy to process (brushing, rolling, spraying) as well as absolutely transparent. The main content of NANODECK FIRE PROTECTION Wood is a natural carbohydrate made of corn or potato starch. In the case of fire and radiating heat the coating develops non-inflammable gases (without noteworthy smoke) and protects the wood from the impacts of the fire by forming a heat-insulating foam layer made of carbon.
